Job Description
Knowledge of Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) regulatory guidelines, insurance billing requirements, state and federal laws and regulations governing capitated, contractual and administrative write-offs, third-party liabilities and bad debt. Including interpersonal skills and telephone communication. Intermediate computer skills to include keyboarding, mouse movement and data entry skills. If you want to increase your chances of being hired, it is recommended that you have at least one to two years of experience in this field.
