Answer phones promptly and respond to telephone inquiries from IPs about their enrollment as IHSS care providers and other Public Authority topics. The Public Authority in Santa Clara County also administers health, dental, vision and transit pass benefits for IHSS providers (IPs) and provides state mandated enrollment processing of all new IHSS providers including DOJ criminal background checks.
