This will involve collecting data and model details for applications of LRCS, writing computer code to implement the surrogate function approach to optimization used in this project, utilize sparse grid code such as SG++ (and communicate with Dirk Pfluger, its author) and Tasmanian, develop approximation and optimization methods using parallelization methods, deploy them on CPU-GPU systems, and. Having at least one to two years of experience in a related field is highly desirable for this position.
